Plastic Techniques Inc. was incorporated in New Hampshire in 1968. The original office and plant were located in the town of New Boston, population 922. Things got off to an inauspicious start during that cold winter fifty years ago when a major snow storm, often referred to as a Nor’easter, stranded the tractor trailer rigs that were hauling the new molding equipment to New Boston. We sat in our 3,000 square-foot building that once housed a buggy repair business, waiting for the storm to abate, the roads to be cleared, the trucks to be pulled out of drifts, and for our new venture to begin! Of course, things eventually did get started. We have grown slowly and steadily during the past five decades. Always remembering our customers—past, present and future—who give us our jobs and keep our company going and growing.
During the mid-1980s we moved to a new 50,000 square foot facility, designed and built specially for our type of operation. This new facility has provided room for us to grow. Its resistive construction, suppression systems, heat and water recycling systems, air quality management system and the like, allow us to provide an uninterrupted supply of products to our customers for years to come.
